Privacy policy

We never receive your documents.

Not your figures, and not your plan either. This page says exactly what goes where, including the parts that are not ours to promise.

The short version

  • The planner is a web page that runs in your browser. There is no account and no upload.
  • The numbers you type and the plan it makes are stored in your browser, on your computer.
  • You can use the whole planner without connecting an AI service.
  • If you choose to have a scanned page read, only the pages you approve go from your browser straight to the AI provider you chose, with your own key. They do not pass through us.
  • There are no advertising or tracking scripts, no cookies, and no ads. The site keeps a few anonymous counts, described below, and you can switch them off.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we are

Memory Care Runway Planner is made and run by one independent developer. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean that developer. It is not a law firm and not a care referral service. You can reach us at support@calleditnow.com.

What we do receive

When you pay

Stripe runs the checkout page and holds the billing record. Through Stripe we see your name, your email address, the amount, and the date, which is how the license gets sent to you. We do not see or store your card number.

When we send your license

The license is emailed by hand to the address you paid with. We keep a private list of the licenses issued: the license number, its type, its dates, and a note of which order it belongs to.

When you write to us

We receive your email address and whatever you write. Please do not send statements, account numbers, or health records. We do not need them to help you, and email is not a safe place for them.

Anonymous counts

To learn whether the site and the planner are working for people, this site keeps its own counts. No outside analytics company is involved, and no script from another company is loaded.

What is counted on the public pages: that a page was opened, that the quick estimate was used, that the price was scrolled into view, that a checkout button was clicked, and that a payment returned.

What is counted in the planner: that a step was reached, by name. The steps are: a license was entered, numbers were saved, a plan was made, a plan was updated, a plan was re-checked a month or more later, a plan was printed, the calendar file was saved, an AI service was connected, and a scan was read. A step is sent as its name alone.

What is stored with each count: the day, the name of the event, the page, the label of the link you followed if it had one, the name of the site you came from, your country, and whether the device was a phone, a tablet, or a computer. Each combination is one row holding a number.

What is never stored or sent: no figure, no name, no document, and nothing you type. No cookie and no identifier of any kind. Your internet address and your browser's description are used for a moment to work out the country and the device type, and are not kept.

How to switch it off: use the link at the foot of any page. Counting is also off by itself when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

If you connect an AI service

This is optional. When you approve a scanned page, your browser sends that page image to the company whose key you connected. From then on that company's own terms apply, not ours. Read them before you send a real statement. This is what each of the main services said when we last read their published terms, on October 11, 2026.

Google Gemini

A free key is the quickest to get. When the key's Google Cloud project has an active billing account, Google says it does not use what you send to improve its products.

Caution. On a free key with no billing account, Google's terms say it may use what you send to improve its products, that human reviewers may read it, and that you should not send personal information. Do not send a real statement on a free key. Add a billing account to the key's project first, or pick another service.

Gemini API terms

OpenAI

OpenAI says data sent through its API is not used to train its models unless you opt in, and that it may be kept for up to 30 days to watch for abuse. OpenAI bills the account that owns the key.

How OpenAI handles API data

Anthropic

Anthropic says it does not use API data to train its models unless you have agreed to that, and that it deletes what you send within 30 days, with some exceptions. Anthropic bills the account that owns the key.

How Anthropic stores API data

The planner also sends a made-up test statement when you connect a key, to check that the service can read a page. It is drawn in your browser and contains no family information. Rewording the summary paragraph sends placeholder tokens only: no names and no amounts.

What stays in your browser, and how to erase it

The license, the figures you typed, any statement text read in the browser, the frozen plan, and a short history of past plans are kept in this browser's storage, so you can come back and re-run the plan. Anyone who uses this browser profile on this computer can open them, and so can browser extensions you have installed. On a shared or public computer, erase your data when you finish.

Every page has a link at the bottom, "Erase my data from this browser". Clearing the browser's site data does the same thing. If browser data is cleared, the plan is gone, so print or save it as a PDF to keep a copy.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. It uses your browser's storage only to keep your own planner data on your own computer, and to remember three small things: which link you arrived by, for the open tab, a few marks that stop the same visit being counted twice, and whether you switched the counts off.

Who else is involved

  • Stripe processes the payment and keeps the billing record, under its own privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare serves the pages and runs the counter. Like any web host, it receives your internet address and the address of the page you asked for. Page addresses contain no names and no figures. Your browser may also send the host an automatic report when a page fails to load. Such a report carries the page address and never your figures.
  • An email provider carries the license email and any message you send us.
  • The AI provider you chose, only if you connect one, and only for the pages you approve.

That is the whole list. There are no advertisers, no data brokers, and no care facilities on it. No facility pays to appear here, and nobody is paid for a placement.

How long things are kept

  • Billing records stay with Stripe for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
  • The list of licenses is kept while licenses are in use, so a lost license can be re-sent.
  • Emails are kept as long as they are needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete yours.
  • The anonymous counts hold no personal information and are kept as totals.
  • Everything in your browser stays until you erase it.

Your choices

  • Use the planner with typed numbers only. No AI service is needed.
  • Switch the anonymous counts off at the foot of any page.
  • Erase what your browser holds at the foot of any page.
  • Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. That is your purchase details and any email you sent. Write to support@calleditnow.com from the address you paid with. Wherever you live, we will answer.

We cannot send you a copy of your plan or delete it for you, because we never had it. It is in your browser.

The planner is made for adults handling a parent's finances. It is not meant for children.

What we cannot promise

A web page is delivered fresh each time you open it. The promise that the planner sends nothing to us is our commitment and the way the page is built: a strict content policy that allows connections only to this site and to the listed AI providers. It is not something your browser can prove on its own. If that matters to you, use the planner without an AI service and with no real documents: typed numbers are enough to make the plan. The security page explains the design.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the change will be described on this page with its date. Questions about privacy: support@calleditnow.com
